American Botanical Council Laboratory Guidance Document for Bilberry extract
The team at Network Nutrition-IMCD is extremely proud of our contribution to the latest American Botanical Council Laboratory Guidance Document for Bilberry extract. The new Guidance document by ABC gives an enhanced set of tools to industry in the fight to stamp out botanical adulteration and substitution of Bilberry. Network Nutrition-IMCD spent more than 3 years researching potential Bilberry adulterants, with the culmination of the work shared with industry via the 2014 Fitoterapia publication.
The Network Nutrition-IMCD Program for Adulteration Detection (NPAD) is continuing to investigate further cases of adulteration involving extracts of Grapeseed, Ginseng, Ginkgo and more and we’ll be communicating our findings to you in due course.
